Refund and Returns Policy

At Bizzy Beehive, we inspect every jar before it leaves our hives in Rural Victoria. Honey is a food product, so our refund and returns policy works a little differently to a typical online shop — here’s exactly how it works.

Change of mind

Our products are food items. Because of that, we can’t accept returns or offer refunds simply for a change of mind, once we’ve dispatched an order. This is standard practice for food and beverage businesses, for hygiene and safety reasons.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged — for example, a broken or leaking jar — faulty, or isn’t what you ordered, we’ll replace it or refund you in full. No questions asked. This sits alongside, and never limits, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. That law guarantees a remedy for goods that are faulty, unsafe, or not as described.

So to arrange a replacement or refund under this policy, contact us within 7 days of your order arriving. Include your order number and a photo of the damaged, faulty or incorrect item.

Because the fault is on our end in these cases, we’ll cover the cost of a replacement. Or we’ll process your refund back to your original payment method.

Order not arrived

If your order hasn’t turned up within a reasonable time, get in touch. We’ll track it down with the courier, and replace or refund it if it’s genuinely gone missing.
