Bizzy Beehive is a small family producer of Australian raw honey, based in the Victorian countryside since a chance meeting with a local beekeeper thirteen years ago. In short, we're still small, we're still raw, and we still keep every jar exactly the way the bees made it.
Isabel Gadea founded Bizzy Beehive in 2013. After living in the city for most of her life, Isabel moved to a small country town in Rural Victoria, north of Melbourne. It was there she crossed paths with a local beekeeper who showed her the intricacies of beekeeping and honey production.
She was fascinated. What started as curiosity became a hobby, and after her first harvest, Isabel offered jars of pure honey to family, friends and neighbours. The response was immediate — they wanted more. That was the beginning of Bizzy Beehive.
Our honey comes from our own bees in the countryside of Victoria. That's why we never pasteurise it — the honey keeps all of its natural enzymes and nutrients exactly as the hive made them, the same way people have produced and enjoyed honey for thousands of years.
The flavour of each jar depends entirely on where our bees have been foraging that season — different flowers, different months, different honey. So we never blend it to taste the same twice, because it isn't supposed to.
Never heated past hive temperature, so the enzymes, pollen and flavour stay exactly as the bees made them.
Lightly strained, never ultra-filtered — you can still taste and see which flower it came from.
Our bees forage on real Australian flora, so what goes in the jar is what came out of the hive.
Family-run and Australian beekeepers, start to finish — ask us which hive your jar came from.

Australian raw honey in single-varietal, creamed and raw honeycomb form — straight from our hives in Rural Victoria to your table.
